Ideas Outdoor Corner Storage Bench
Build an outdoor corner storage bench to match your wooden patio furniture with a few simple instructions. Teak, cedar, redwood or treated wood work best for outdoor storage and other furniture, as these forests are more resistant to mold and insects and age well outdoors. You can never have enough storage capacity, so put out the screwdriver and build a simple outdoor storage bench. Have your boards cut to size at your local wood store and you can unit this project together in no time.
Mount the front, back and top of your outdoor storage bench by joining 3 sets of 3 4-foot long cedar planks 2 by 6. Place the side 3 planks side by side horizontally and place 1 of the strips of treated wood through them vertically, 6 inches from each end. Attach the strips to the cedar planks by the first drill holes where you will place the wood screws. Insert 3 screws into the wooden strip, one for each board.
